Radio 4's programme Ramblings yesterday featured a couple whose female half had Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and was walking again after being paralysed in a rare reaction to a flu jab.

There's not much about the illness; it's mostly about the walk. Reference to the illness is from about 05.08 (I can't remember if there were other bits).

I knew a women who got GBS after the Shingles vaccine. She was around 70ish. She was also paralysed and made a full recovery after 3 months.
