I have considered this but you don't know what you will get, is it worth possibly getting toxic contaminants or no active ingredient or both?

Yes, it is a possibility. I would only try a place that has been tried and tested profusely by other ME patients though, to lessen the risk.

I also know someone from another country who has offered to get it for me and ship it to me.

Wouldn't Canada Customs seize it at the border though if it requires a prescription here in Canada?

Like @MeSci said, they wouldn’t know what it is. Unless they open it for some random search which I doubt would happen.

No I haven’t. i need a prescriber and i haven’t found anyone to do it. But i am not sure why you are bringing up LDN? Is that what you were planning to get?

Honestly I don’t know. I have ordered overseas a few times but never really paid attention to anything pertaining to customs.

I am probably not always clear, and I often forget so much. I’m sorry if this is confusing.

At first I was talking about off the shelf drugs in general, then I was specifically talking about LDN. And the original post was talking about a skype appointment with Dr Teitelbaum. Why would you be confused, lol !

It is really sad that Canadian patients cannot be offered basic treatments. The majority of GP’s would only know to offer anti-depressants or stimulants. They have no clue at all. This has to change.
