I dislike how living with Covid has become doing absolutely nothing different at all, rather than adapting to and allowing those vulnerable to it to still have access to life with some reasonable level of safety. Its become so politically charged to do the basics of looking after your neighbor, the level of selfishness on display has really been quite astounding and any clinically vulnerable person has been left having to deal with the tyranny of the majority. I have certainly treated Covid like the weather, when the risk is substantially lower more is done, when infections are high shelter in place. But its all you can do in the land of "do nothing because we live with Covid".
