New Viruses Found in Parasitic Nematodes

Viruses are pretty much everywhere, of course. Still, this nematode study is curious, if only for potential import.

Viruses might "be everywhere", but our bodies have protections in place to prevent them from entering our bodies. Worms provide a way to get past some barriers. Likewise for the probocis on a mosquito or the various biting parts of other insects.

I recently noticed a wasp fly past with an ovipositor several times the length of the rest of its body, evolved to inject eggs down larval tunnels in bark. Life evolves protective barriers, and life evolves ways past them.
