Amazon links don't work, or display, on here, yet.

I haven't tried it, but for anyone interested @speedy242 is referring to item B0027UJI5O on amazon.co.uk

Hi. I tried EPA years ago on the advice of an acupuncturist. I bought expensive good quality stuff. It didn't have any effect so I gradually increased the dose to quite a high level. Still no effect (other than a fishy taste). I tried again a couple of years ago on the advice of a nutritionist, - this time the MOREPA brand you linked, used for months, still no effect. It is supposed to be good for general health but didn't do anything noticeable for me.

Same. No benefit but lots of fishy burps! The evidence base is quite muddled too--it can't decide whether we need more omega 3 (fish oils) or omega 6 (evening primrose oil). Yet more of one usually means you absorb less of the other, if I'm remembering correctly.

You can get omega 3 from linseed, which is much nicer (I love it on coconut soya ice cream with raspberries and almond butter).

I am on Puritan's Pride Omega 3 Fish Oil suggested by my psychiatrist at his recommended dosage and I have had no positive effects on my pain or cognition. I have tried other fish oils in the past and told him so but he insisted I try this.

Me too, stale fish burps all morning. Couldn't take them when I was teaching. My son, a fitness freak, saw my expensive Omega 3 capsules and asked if he could have them. "Sure," I replied. Small pleasures.
