That was two and a half years ago that he had Lyme Disease. He is just announcing today that he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunts Syndrome.

He was infected in Feb 22. Additionally his wife Hailey had a transient ischaemic attack post COVID at around the same time.

Notwithstanding his past history of Lyme disease, this makes me wonder if we will see more loss of control of latent viral infections, in those infected with COVID.

I might have contracted Covid over 2yrs ago when vaccines and tests weren't available. I developed a vestibular neuritis type illness that I'm still struggling with today, possible reactivation of EBV. I'm feeling better and have weeks when I feel back to my baseline, but it continues to reactivate and I'm still sick with this thing. Constant fluid build up in my ears and sinuses and I can feel it draining down my throat.

I'm getting the Shingles vaccine within the next few years to be safe.

I had that and it was caused by Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (also known as Silent Reflux).

Justin Bieber cancels remaining world tour dates to focus on his health (The Independent)

This follows his tour leg including Rock in Rio (YouTube clip) in early Sept where the hemifacial paralysis did not seem to be an ongoing problem. Given his previous comments and past history of Lyme disease, it seems likely he is suffering from more disabling Long Covid symptoms.
