"Today we announce that #MEAction’s co-founder and executive director, Jennifer Brea, is going to be transitioning to a board position so she can take time to focus on her health after five intense years of ME and advocacy. This will not happen immediately- we will be working hard to find a new Executive Director first! And Jen is not going away, but we are so proud that she is taking the time she deserves to focus on her health."

Thanks Jen, if you're still here. Many of us have been critical over the last two years of some developments in your approach to trying to understand ME/CFS, but your efforts do not go unnoticed.

I’ve been really out of the loop and not on the forums except in infrequent bursts until recently. I’m just interested in knowing without having to dig into threads, what are the constructive criticisms?

#MEAction is advertising for a new Executive Director:

We are looking for our next Executive Director to begin as soon as possible. You will take the reins from our founding director, work directly with the Board to establish our strategic plan for the next three to five years, and ensure the successful implementation of your plan.

Applicants must live in the USA. Application online, closing date 15th December.
