There was an item on BBC Radio 4's You and Yours programme today, but clearly featuring a relatively-well person able to work: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000hws5 Starts at about 23:38 and ends at 29:00. It was looking at the needs people with, e.g. ME, have and the fact that they have needed them for years, but that the measures are suddenly being put in place (for other people). I thought that she summarised it well.
The guest is Catherine Hale who works with the Chronic Illness Inclusion Project who recently released the report on energy impairment: https://s4me.info/threads/centre-fo...-impairment-and-disability.14887/#post-256789
ME is an intolerance of exercise & exertion not fatigue. She really should have mentioned long term PEM/payback, that's the most important thing about ME in my opinion.
The segment wasn't about M.E. It was about any and all conditions that have associated with them fatigue and energy impairment - she just happened to mention M.E at one stage.
