This probiotic is also known as Mutaflor. I have had good improvements with this one; might post more about this later.

I'm still debating whether or not to try this probiotic. I've spent so much money over the years on products that haven't worked, but this is one of the probiotics that Ken Lassesen of CFS Remission recommends for ME. And it is available for sale here in Canada which is a bonus.

 

I'm pretty sure I moved from moderate to mild because of this one.

 

That's good to know. I think in the New Year I'll probably go ahead and order some and see how it goes. There is another one with e-coli that Ken also recommends but I believe it is only available from Europe so I don't know whether or not it will allowed it into Canada.

 

Just a note; the first two weeks were absolutely awful and all my symptoms seemed intensified. Then it got better. Probably a phase of LPS from some bacteria getting crowded out and dying off.

Can you describe your use of Mutaflor; what dose you used and how long before symptoms abated and what type of symptoms if you don't mind sharing? I'd be interested.

@adreno How long have you been using Mutaflor for and do you take breaks from it the way that Ken Lassesen suggests?

 

About 3 months? I took it daily the first few weeks, but now I just take it once in a while. It seems to have colonized.

 

Just one capsule daily. Every symptom got worse at first, including OI, muscle fatigue and pain, headache, etc. Took a few weeks to get over it.
