    Radio 4 has been promoting some recordings by CBeebies to help get children to sleep, which are called Calming Sounds. I tried listening to the sound of waves one night when I felt a bit overstimulated, and found it quite nice.

    Which sounds are pleasant vs unpleasant is a really individual thing, but I thought I'd link the website in case anyone else wants to see if it might be helpful:

    Thanks for that link @Kitty.

    I'm going to give this a go to see if it helps get rid of those infuriating earworms. Those maddening little snippets of music my mind plays back on a loop.
