The special committee on the COVID-19 pandemic organises two workshops to discuss the state of play of EU’s crisis preparedness and response, and developments related to “long COVID”.

Members of the Special Committee on COVID-19 (COVI) will debate with several experts the state of play of the EU’s crisis preparedness and response system, the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges ahead

I think the experts Peter Piot, Dominique Salmon, Clara Lehmann, Carmen Scheibenbogen all stressed that Long Covid is not psychosomatic.

On 9 March, a workshop on Long Covid was held in the European parliament. Various invited experts and Members of Parliament highlighted a link between ME/CFS and Long Covid.
