Epsom salts pulls all the liquid from your body and excretes it so it gets rid of the milk fluid. It worked 
Families used to have tins of epsom salts in the cupboard when I was small but we were posh and had Andrew's liver salts. My cousin and I loved it and would sneak into my gran's larder to drink it because it was fizzy - lemonade was for the New Year! Kept us regular ....
