Hey, no worries, the editor of Cochrane said this is common and absolutely fine as long as most people agree with the underlying assumptions.
But it does make me curious about who reviewed PACE and the other ME papers. It probably helps when the editor agrees with you and doesn't even need to see the research to tout it as groundbreaking. Makes it all easier for the researchers, no harm done, well, except for the patients of course.
