Thanks for that.

I have already considered it, but decided against getting tested at this stage, for reasons given in this post.

Main reason I have not pursued it further is that there is no specific test for it, and there is no treatment or cure, only symptom management and risk reduction

Except that now there are treatments!

I have received an invitation to take part in a research study on reflux, not specifically LPR. There is a basic screening form online.

I received an email from my GP about a research project here in the UK on reflux too. Presumably the same project, I have not read it yet.
