I am sure many of you saw Michael Sharpe's latest tweet about Tuller's crowdfunding. That spurred a lot of response and, even better, donations to the crowdfunding.
Could this actually be a resource for us? Can we turn badmouthing and negative characteristics of ME-patients and biomedical research into something positive?
The Norwegian Refugee Council recently created the hashtag #Trollmelding (Trollmessage). If you see something infuriating on social media on racism, negative characteristics of refugees etc then as a response you can donate to the Refugee Council and use their hashtag.
Perhaps we could do something similar?
I suggest a hashtag something along the line of #PWMEStandWithScience and a donation to Tuller or biomedical research as response whenever our biopsychosocial friends present their opinions and criticises biomedical research and investigative journalism.
What do you think? Could it be worth a try?
