Domestic abuse survivors twice at risk of long-term illnesses

    It was slight after the sensitivity analysis where the effect for CFS basically disappeared.

    The actual physical damage done by physical abuse is vastly underestimated but this sort of paper does not help, it just looks that way in the headline so it is given more credence than it deserves.

    These sort of BPS researchers don't start by wanting to know about realities for abuse victims. They have a theory that physical disease is not caused by germs, environmental or genetic factors except tangentially; no, they believe physical disease is caused by adverse events leading to psychological weakness which is expressed by physical problems in the body.

    They research victims of abuse to prove their theories not to help the victims. Real scientists set up experiments to disprove their theories then if the results stand up they have proved they are correct whereas this bunch go out of their way to introduce as many sources of bias as possible to bolster their ideas.
