As many members will be aware, this forum is now a signatory to the letter, too.

Huge thanks to the MPs who signed this letter.

Very pleased to see that @Action for M.E. have signed it too.

It's great to see so many signatories; so many senior academics and clinicians and a range of signatories from several countries. If any one has the cognitive function to count the number (I don't) that could be a useful fun fact for those on twitter.

    I counted
    101 experts/academics
    10 MPs
    65 patients organisations/advocacy organisations

Thanks. That should probably be 100 experts/academics and one countess. I wasn't sure where to put Margaret Mar. She's not considered an MP. I figured I could put her in the "expert" category for her professional policy-making role on House of Lords.

Another thing which might be of interest, for future signatories, is perhaps the number of members patient organisations and advocacy organisations have; how many people they represent.
