Abstract:
A 2019 report to the Australian NHMRC found that 66% of research on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), also referred to as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) was on managing the condition, 17% was on finding the cause for the condition, 10% on prevention and 7% on multiple areas.
Besides a number of recommendations, the committee recommended "building research quantity and capacity, improving health services research and developing health advice".
