CENSSAS: Exploring Associations Between CENtral Sensitivity Syndromes and the Autism Spectrum

Whilst many chronic pain disorders have been linked to central sensitization
This is really not an accurate statement, though. They're not 'linked', they're described as such. Based on a circular definition consisting of having the symptoms that define those conditions. Exact same as with psychosomatic, functional, and every other identical label they use to describe the same thing. They even acknowledge this in the same paragraph:
, a group of health conditions previously considered to be psychiatric or unexplained have been more recently theorised as having a primary component of central sensitization, and therefore referred to as ‘central sensitivity syndromes’
So why describe this inaccurately? This is not a 'link' found through data or some scientific process, it's a description based on lack on understanding.
further research has shown that central sensitization can explain fatigue as well as chronic widespread pain
Again this is just because some people decided to describe it this way. This is just speculative opinion, not the result of a rigorous process. It's entirely circular reasoning. And then there's the idea where something 'can' be explained as if it means something. Astrology can explain everything. It just doesn't. But there is nothing that says that it can't.

You don't get anywhere with circular reasoning. Ever. Not even accidentally. Not a single accidental discovery in history happened through circular reasoning.
