I trusted my doctor when they recommended me to my local CFS pain management clinic. I undertook a specialist course of CBT with Graded Exercise Therapy. Before I started the course I was attending university full time. The CBT and GET made my ME/CFS much worse, so I was forced to abandon my degree and I have been housebound ever since.
