I'm currently hopeful of a placebo sugar pill to allow me to get off the nasty pills (and remove the side effects from them) which I currently have to take to control my diabetes.

I wish, I wish I just had to believe something for the pain to go away. I take painkillers, I use distraction, I don't dwell on it, but there it is in the background, all the time.
