A WREXHAM woman has praised "brilliant" police officers who rushed to her aid in a medical emergency.
Donna Vicary, from Rhos, has myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) which causes her to suffer from orthostatic intolerance - whereby standing for long periods puts her blood pressure at risk of crashing, potentially causing heart failure and death.
She also suffers from asthma, which she says is particularly bad at the moment - so on Tuesday morning needed to get medication to relieve the symptoms.
The 39-year-old says the queue to pick up prescriptions at the local pharmacy was stretched "down the street" - as has become a regular occurrence during the Covid-19 pandemic.
It's then when things become serious for her.
She explained: "I had been standing in the queue for a while which is really dangerous for me and I was really starting to feel unwell.
