    Details:

Hello Friends of the Public Library, Medical Professionals and Supporters of the Naviaux Lab!

The Naviaux Lab invites you to join us for a special screening of UNREST, an award winning documentary about 28 year old Jennifer Brea who was working on her PhD at Harvard and months away from marrying the love of her life when she gets a mysterious fever that leaves her bedridden and looking for answers. Disbelieved by doctors yet determined to live, she turns her camera on herself and discovers a hidden world of millions confined to their homes and bedrooms by ME/CFS, commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

"RIVETING......equal parts medical mystery, science lesson, political advocacy primer and even a love story."

    – The San Francisco Chronicle

The event to be held at the Neil Morgan Auditorium in the new downtown Central Library, is to help bring awareness to ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and raise funds for the Naviaux Lab, UC San Diego School of Medicine.

Delectable movie concession TREATS will be available for purchase thanks to the generosity of Venissimo CHEESE, Perfect Bar, BEAMING (local organic fresh pressed juices), CrunchTime Popcorn, and Trader Joe's. 100% of funds raised go to the Naviaux Lab!

There will be a *RAFFLE* opportunity with an array of luxury goods donated by generous local businesses to include cakes from Extraordinary Desserts, a Floral Design class at Isari Flower Studio, a trio of Napa Cabs from Morton's The Steakhouse, a signed copy of Wolf Larsen's CD "Quiet At The Kitchen Door", a Chuao Chocolatier's signature gift box, an L.L.bean gift card, and a San Diego Zoo + Safari Park Aussie-themed gift basket including four tickets to either park.

Following the screening Dr. Robert Naviaux will provide a brief synopsis of the Naviaux Lab's current research.
