I have a foam mattress topper and keep waking up in the night too hot, throwing quilts off, and then waking up too cold later, and on and on.
Does anyone have experience with non-foam ones? Recommendations?

I've been getting through so far because I'm prescribed zopiclone which I'm allowed to use a maximum of twice a week. The *very hot* weather this summer has so far happened in short clusters of days, so I've been able to use zopiclone for all the really hot ones...

I rely quite a lot on the weight of my duvet to make me sleepy, so when it's too hot for my usual duvet, I'm rather at a loss for getting to sleep.

I quite often wake up at night after a few hours' sleep because I'm too cold (especially at the moment).
The solution doesn't seem to be to pile on more blankets because I'd be too hot to start with. I'd rather go to sleep and stay a comfortable temperature all night and not wake up at all...
