In what way does this constitute research.
Is the idea generally that you try and disprove your hypothesis, not go out if your way to reinforce it ?

CBT and GET are only part of the problem.The belief system does not seem to allow any mental constructs to be moved, and for medics to know what they are supposed to be treating/ supporting.
It is more basic than CBT and GET.
Necessary8 on PR had an intriguing hypothesis which developed over the course of the past year.

It is a self reinforcing cycle. If you can change a response to a questionnaire after a few weeks , then you can treat anything.
It would be interesting to know how many responded to please the therapist, or to never have to do it again.
