Healthcare workers during corona want better work conditions, not psychological help

Yes, a friend of mine said that any company that makes a big deal out of perks to supposedly help wellbeing, is probably an unpleasant place to work. They think that offering free mindfulness courses and whatnot makes up for being nasty to employees.

Signs of Intracranial Hypertension, Hypermobility and Craniocervical Obstructions in patients with ME/CFS (Pre-print 2019/published 2020) Bragée et al

I think that's kind of a joke. "Only for you" as a response to a request doesn't necessarily mean literally only for you - it's a way of saying yes whilst also expressing your love for the person who asked.

    Unpleasant taste

Yeah I've been racking my brains to see whether I've been doing anything different recently. But I haven't changed any of my medications or supplements. I have tried some new foods recently, but as one-offs - nothing which could logically cause this "every other day" symptom pattern!

    Unpleasant taste

The plot thickens... I've realised that, for the last 10 days, I've had this bad taste thing literally every second day, without fail. And I'm fine on the days inbetween. It's very bizarre. It's not even a crash thing now. I'm not crashed. I'm stable. The bad taste does seem to correlate with...

Persistent fatigue following SARS-CoV-2 infection is common and independent of severity of initial infection July 2020 Townsend et al

I must say I find it very difficult to believe that 52% of covid patients have persistent fatigue 10 weeks after infection. Wouldn't it have been reported much more widely if that were the case? There was a different study which found that like 10% of people had persistent symptoms (at I can't...

    Unpleasant taste

For me it is like the nasty taste that you get in your mouth when you're ill with a virus. From healthline.com: "When you have a cold, sinus infection, or other illness, your body naturally releases a protein made by different cells in the body to promote and mediate inflammation. It’s thought...

CBT for ME that is accepted by the community.

Same. For my actual mental health problems, I found self help books more helpful than IAPT CBT lol. But maybe the therapist that I got was just an idiot.

CBT for ME that is accepted by the community.

We're not psychologically ill, so why should we accept any form of CBT? CBT is based on the assumption that you have faulty thinking patterns.

UK: Action for ME: Sign our letter calling to halt the disability tax

Why can only PWME and organisations sign this? Why not people with other disabilities who'd be affected by this?

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to employ a Spiritual Healer / Reiki Therapist Aug 2020

My aunt is a so-called reiki healer and it's very annoying, although thankfully she has finally stopped sending me invitations to her reiki facebook group.
