I was assaulted by a similar cacophony last time I was in hospital, when I was in an isolation room - I think there were 4 different beeps going off at irregular intervals, which eventually drove me to the window, wondering whether there was a way to jump out and end it all! (I was in for a...
Doesn't this conflict with what Ron Davis found? I can't think where it is - I think it's on this site somewhere, and also on Phoenix Rising - he found a lot of differences.
The ME Association has been working for some time with Dr Karl Morten and the research team at Oxford who have recently been honing their approach to the study of metabolomics in ME/CFS.
Before embarking on a new study utilising samples from the ME/CFS Biobank for the ME Association, they have...

I note that everyone except @Cinders66 here appears to be male (sorry - not sure about @Sidney), and wonder whether this is a factor in the effectiveness of the drugs. Males and females have very different chemical make-ups according to some researcher (can't remember who).
It's one thing that...
I didn't notice anything particularly controversial in CS's talk, but the link https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/chronic-fatigue-syndrome-cfs/ (Learn more about CFS) was definitely dodgy.
I don't know any more about this - just copied from an incoming post:

I don't know what happened when I was trying to upload a photo! I'll try again. It's a photo of my head/hair in 2016, after the hair fell out.
It grew back again.
I had quite a lot of hair coming out a few years ago, but it seems to have grown back, and also greying seems to have slowed considerably (or perhaps it's just growing more slowly?). I henna my hair so it's not obvious.

I know there is mesh available - I'm just not sure of my current ability to put it up. I've even got one saved in my ebay account, but that's one that has to be cut to size. I could afford something better now, but my cognitive ability is generally not very good at the moment.
I can't open downstairs windows due to insects of all types swarming in until the house is full of them. I simply can't catch them all, so they usually end up dying between the ceiling-curtains and the glass ceiling in the conservatory, after exhausting me trying to catch them. (I live next to...
I wasn't sure where to put this as it was in a Psychology magazine but it looked more scientific than that.
