Has anybody with ME not contracted Covid-19 even when a household member has had it (or is suspected to have had it)

Yes, I have had migraine or mild headache with it sometimes, including recently. The other symptoms I have had were: Apparently high pulse (usually quite-well controlled with beta-blocker) No appetite Stronger-than-usual sense of smell (possibly coincidental due to change of pollen status)...

Has anybody with ME not contracted Covid-19 even when a household member has had it (or is suspected to have had it)

Incidentally, I have occasionally lost my ability to speak and write properly before, but it has only lasted up to 15 minutes, and was accompanied by weird visual effects (as I think it was temporarily this time). I presumed it to be scintillating scotoma. I don't think that a longer spell has...

Has anybody with ME not contracted Covid-19 even when a household member has had it (or is suspected to have had it)

I expect you would benefit from knowing how old people are, bearing in mind that it appears less likely that young people catch it (and few show symptoms)? I live alone, but think I may have caught it, with different symptoms from usual, coming and going, but I am 66 years old, have had ME for...

Item on ME on You and Yours (working)

There was an item on BBC Radio 4's You and Yours programme today, but clearly featuring a relatively-well person able to work: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000hws5 Starts at about 23:38 and ends at 29:00. It was looking at the needs people with, e.g. ME, have and the fact that they have...

UK: REGISTER AS A VULNERABLE PERSON TO GET CORONAVIRUS SUPPORT

I found a couple of £4 slots at my usual delivering supermarket - ASDA - a couple of days ago, and took advantage. I don't usually pay that much for delivery, but their item prices are low. Have been having to trudge about half a mile to the Co-op, but hopefully that's ended. My organic veg...

Trial By Error: A Post About Lupus and MUS, Not COVID

Just noticed a couple of small errors: "In the case of both studies, it would be possible to challenge the numbers as non-representatives" Should the latter word be singular? "Certainly they would likely they would be referred to psychotherapy" Repetition. Otherwise good!

Article: Mystery illnesses are on the rise with women, whom doctors are dismissing as "nervous Nellies" Apr 2020

Interesting. I'm puzzled though by "We certainly see here in New York city that the people who are becoming infected and becoming very sick are young. Surprisingly young."

UK: REGISTER AS A VULNERABLE PERSON TO GET CORONAVIRUS SUPPORT

Just for info, the place I order prescriptions is here: https://app.patientaccess.com/login The application presumably goes through to my GP, who completes it in about 3 days. Unfortunately I then have to phone the chemist to make sure it's in!

    Trial By Error: What Now?

I have a Masters degree, gained with ME but before worsening. I had to forego the last 6 months of my benefit because I couldn't fill in any forms, having worsened. I get a pension now (thank goodness).

Coronavirus - worldwide spread and control

I'm over 60 and have hypertension (treated with varying success with tablets). However, I seem to have the type of ME with an overactive immune system - I rarely catch anything.
