I propose that we rename PACE to the Schrödinger trial Thats the spirit

David Tuller's new crowdfunding campaign (April 1, 2018)

I suspect he will retire before he gets fired if his career is truly at risk.

What the New Medical Podcast DDx Gets Right About Diagnosis

Due to weird brain dysfunction i didn't even realize there was a podcast to listen to, i just read the article o_O For those whose brains are as messed up as mine the link to it is here: https://figure1.com/ddx/

I would like to propose we renegotiate our deal, afaik @Robert 1973 was not blocked by MS but since there is now donation matching if we both donate our agreed upon amounts then we will have double the positive effect. Is this proposal acceptable to you?

Opportunity for US ME/CFS patients to mass-piggyback onto 'transformative' NIH 1-million-patient precision medicine study

Fair enough but the healthcare situation in the US is very complex and biased against patients, corporations will throw you under the bus, then in front of it then in front of a firing squad because you have a health condition or have in the past (people lose coverage for things like having acne...

When you have painted yourself into a corner where else can you go?

Opportunity for US ME/CFS patients to mass-piggyback onto 'transformative' NIH 1-million-patient precision medicine study

I would be very wary of the legal and healthcare implications of genetic discrimination that is completely legal in the US the last time i checked (admittedly some years ago).

What the New Medical Podcast DDx Gets Right About Diagnosis

An interesting (but long, ME/CFS brain dysfunction warning) analysis from a doctor's point of view in diagnosing patients with rare illnesses. https://slate.com/technology/2018/04/figure-1s-new-medical-podcast-ddx-reviewed.html

I was thinking that should be a response to Sharpe, "if you believe that then show us the specific flaws in his articles".

Michael Sharpe skewered by @JohntheJack on Twitter

I don't disagree with you That said changing public opinion is a multi pronged approach, one they have been very good at, dominating the conversation, plausible and intuitive lies, falsified research, getting it published in a respectful journal, finding allies that will protect them...

Esther Crawley's presentations (excluding the 2017 TEDx talk)

If she is going to cover her "research" then she is going to use alternative facts and claim its medical science? Is there not some sort of ethics board that regulates her profession and credentials?

Of course, he would never do that anyways so its a waste of energy trying.

KPAX002 as a treatment for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS): a prospective, randomized trial, 2018, Montoya et al

Between this and the researchers behind the shopping bag trial on top of everything else happening i think we have enough to keep David Tuller going for quite a while, i'll need to double my donation (which will then be matched/doubled again) to pay his salary :)

Michael Sharpe skewered by @JohntheJack on Twitter

Fair enough but the alternative is not better, letting a fraudster dominate the discussion just gives him credibility and people will fall for alternative facts (unfortunately). But given the simple and to the point necessary my point about abbreviating things would seem to still make sense...

Michael Sharpe skewered by @JohntheJack on Twitter

I disagree, when you let someone be the only voice on a subject and they sound reasonable people will believe them. That said i would abbreviate things, a simple your trial claimed that people were disabled and cured at the same time or PACE was called the medical scandal of the millennium by...

KPAX002 as a treatment for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS): a prospective, randomized trial, 2018, Montoya et al

You are not overthinking, your exposing flaws in their logic. Their motive makes some sense but it really does sound like they are just chasing dollar signs as i have mentioned in the other threads addressing this "drug"

David Tuller's new crowdfunding campaign (April 1, 2018)

Now thats interesting, i had asked about this from OMF and was told they were looking into registering but never heard back again. But how does this work, do they send us a tax receipt and is it just if we donate to the University or does this crowdfunding count? Any info @dave30th

    David Tuller Crowdfunding over $75k

I hope momentum stays the same though, if we can get him 3/4 time funded or even full time funded that would be extra awesome for us
