For at least 2000 years. The effect is hugely more pronounced if the patient is female. If they (doctors) can get away with implying the patient is stupid, immoral, lazy, attention-seeking, lying, and mentally ill then they will do so.
It has to be downloaded and installed. I would definitely suggest downloading the latest version of the software. Do you remember if you installed it?
Edit : On Windows 10, which is what I'm using, the Kindle app appears in my installed programs list as "Amazon Kindle".
@arewenearlythereyet Thanks for all the info on irradiation of food. I obviously got the wrong end of the stick from things I saw on TV some years ago.

If I get the flu or even a heavy cold I'll stay at home. And if I do venture out I'd prefer not to meet people with colds and flu. It might not have made much difference to me when I was 25, but now I'm getting long in...

I realise that "may be irradiated" doesn't mean they necessarily are, but it is definitely allowed.
I suspect that food irradiation has something to do with declining gut bacteria diversity. I was surprised at how long the history of food irradiation has been - it was first patented in 1905.

You don't need a Kindle to read books in Kindle format. There is a free Kindle App supplied by Amazon for iOS, Android, Mac and PC - just download and install whichever one is relevant to you. You can then read anything that is sold for the Kindle.

@Mithriel The problem you describe when taking metoclopramide could be one of the following - extrapyramidal symptoms, akathisia, or tardive dyskinesia
I hope you didn't take it for long, because if the problem is allowed to continue it can become permanent even if the cause is removed. I only...
@Allele What dose of PEA do you use? And do you split dose? I've never heard of this stuff before, so I'm intrigued and may research it when I have the energy. A quick check on Google and Amazon suggests it may be too expensive for me, whatever its benefits.
Edit : I found a version of this...
I have a question about the code or codes that are put on patients' records when they are diagnosed with one or more of the various things that are, underneath it all, considered to be MUS e.g. Bodily Distress Disorder or Somatic Symptom Disorder or Medically Unexplained Symptoms or any of the...
:rofl::rofl: I really wish that were true. I bought a complete set of my GP notes and they were dreadful! I had notes from other people mixed in with mine. Operation results, letters and notes were not summarised so they effectively ceased to exist as far as doctors were concerned so they...
