Is there anyone else (apart from me) who thinks this is a very weird picture? It really looks (in parts) as if someone has decided to check the health of Brea's hair.
Yes, infant mortality got a mention in the article :
Shortly before Christmas, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reduced its projections of life expectancy for all people in the UK, rising less rapidly in future resulting in almost a year of life lost by 2041. In many areas of the...
Link : http://theconversation.com/rapid-rise-in-mortality-in-england-and-wales-in-early-2018-an-investigation-is-needed-93311
In the first seven weeks of 2018, over 10,000 (12.4%) more people died in England and Wales than was usual for the time of year. No official explanation from government...
Thanks, Trish. I thought it might be too good to be true - I've had lactate dehydrogenase measured as part of test bundles in the past, but never something called just "lactate".
A link from the above article took me to this :
http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1986-10-29/entertainment/8603210488_1_male-body-male-model-moral
The entire article is very short. Sadly it doesn't have any references, so I couldn't find out why little girls were deemed to be morally...
Where did the bit I've put in bold come from? I've already received the stuff from Pulse via email, and I'd like to keep it together with the bit I've put in bold.
I posted about the Pulse email on Thursday ...
I used to have an account with Pulse (the online magazine for doctors), from when it was possible to join the site as a non-doctor, and as a result I still get sent emails with information on online courses I could do if I was a doctor. One came today which is relevant to the subject of this...

How many more ways are going to be made up to make sure the maximum number of people are caught in the mental health wastebasket? And since women cry more than men, what percentage of the so-called Highly Sensitive People will...
I'm replying to myself - I posted my quote in December.
I just had the bill for this come through on email last night. I had completely forgotten I had bought it so long ago and decided it was an accidental purchase. But I was baffled at how I'd managed to do that. So I cancelled it. I'm not...
About 8 - 10 years ago I suffered from severe hyperventilation. I was breathing roughly every 1 - 2 seconds. I couldn't hold my breath for more than 2 - 3 seconds. My chest hurt. I was constantly sighing and struggling to get more air into me. My lungs felt over-full, and yet emptying my lungs...
This research is in its early stages and there are still lots of questions surrounding it.
Quoting from a post on another forum
A thyroid hormone different from T4 and T3 acts as a control of insulin production by affecting the energy producing factories (mitochondria). Like T4 , the hormone...
I noticed the almost complete lack of references.
I'm also unclear why the CFS/ME pathway is hidden under Pain Management, with no clues to the fact it is even there.
I only posted about this, by the way, because people need to know what others are reading that may be complete rubbish.
I need about 9 - 10 hours to get a day I consider one of my best days. I very, very rarely manage this though. And when I do succeed in getting 9 - 10 hours I find it hard to sleep for the next few nights. But it is worth it to have one of my best days very occasionally.
I was just browsing this site today : https://my-oscar.nhs.uk/
And I clicked on the link for advice on Pain Management. This, unexpectedly, then leads to the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME) Care Pathway...
