if you are happy to email me your letter i will print and post it for you. I have a post box a couple hundred meters away from my door. Pm me if you want to do that.
If people are struggling to get food and essentials then it is worth trying to contact the supermarkets, or local places which sell food. I tried phoning supermarkets but no answer. I emailed Ocado a number of days ago and today their site let me in saying I had been identified as vulnerable, I...
The old version of the model must have been rubbish, predicting low mortality which surely must have been obviously wrong to anyone who glanced at the numbers from China.
Bear in mind the new model which predicts 260,000 deaths with the mitigate strategy says it is based on the assumption that...
It's hard to know what the govt is really doing. But the paper reccomends suppression as the right strategy because the mortality numbers are really bad otherwise, even if you protect the vulnerable.
On the weekend Matt Hancock said that the govt plan did not include herd immunity. Which was odd as the govt had been bangin on about exactly that for days. It looked out of place and Hancock appeared to be wrong, but in light of this new information it looks like they had sight of this data...
If you are young and healthy its not a big deal in terms of direct health impact. But if older and/or unhealthy then it is much riskier. Unfortunately, modern society is very self-focused. Other people dying? Well, its other people, isn’t it. Thats the underlying true view of some, I think. Some...
Hearing aids are often 3d printed to the individual ear to ensure a perfect fit. You might be able to get some custom made but without the electronics?
I use these but they sound similar to what you have already?

i get a few uses out of each...
I’m wondering about this myself. Some ppl with ME report being somewhat immune to colds/flu. While others report catching everything. I have often wondered if in some ME patients the immune system is left on in part, meaning invading viruses don’t get the usual foothold as they would when...
I dont think lactic acid bacteria are going to do much, to be honest. In any disease. LAB is readily available because its easy to grow through fermentation of foods. But it's such a tiny slice of the human gut flora, most of our gut is (or should be) made up of other types of bacteria in much...
That was a cathartic read @Brian Hughes you expressed articulately a lot of stuff we patients feel but haven't always been able to say. Thank you for writing it.
Not been able to read all the comments, no doubt others have said what I'm going to say, but I'll say it anyway.
This isn't a study of CFS. If you go to a CFS clinic with fatigue and tell them you've had/got Hep C then you won't be diagnosed with CFS. It literally means you don't have CFS...
Not a criticism (the study is what it is) but we need much bigger numbers of study participants before we know if there is anything significant here or not.
Other work shows that females as well as having cells with their own DNA (obviously inherited from both parents) they also have cells direct from their mother, and their own children if they have them (DNA gets swapped across the placenta) plus DNA from the father found in their bodies.
And of...
