Thank you. Very kind. Actually we had a Professor of General Practice and Head of General Practice Research Erasmus University Marco Blanker on LinkedIn. He wrote the following and send the film to several other medical schools...
Thanks Trish and glad you got to see the whole thing. Obviously they don't say much that we don't know, but it's still quite healing to hear and see them say it out loud. Hopefully it will reach the right people.
OMG we did it‼️‼️
In this film for ME Awareness month, five medical doctors open up about living with PAIS/IACC conditions like ME, long-COVID, and chronic Lyme. It’s a format that I believe has never been shown before, not just in the Netherlands but possibly worldwide!
They speak candidly...
True, but that was also not the point of me posting it. Just that it was used and/or researched in different places. We'll see after the trial about the actual efficiency.
I can understand, but it is however interesting that several groups or MDs are testing the same drug at the moment. Especially considering the Norwegians are in the works of (eventually) conducting a placebo controlled trial.
"They all reported PEM, the frequency ranged from ‘every day’ to ‘few times a week’. They all reported school absence ranging from ‘several times a week’ to ‘few times a month’."
Whoot? What kind of PEM is that? Several times a week. For me PEM takes a couple of days. They probably measured...

I thought some of the (preliminary) findings/science were presented too much as facts. Or it was simply not clearly stated that they are preliminary. There was however nothing pro BPS or anything that would give in that way a problematic impression of ME. I don't think your grandmother will be...
I thought the stories of the patients were really well portraited and from a patient perspective. The science bits were in my opinion often questionable. I thought that was really a pity. I therefore have mixed feelings about recommending it. If it were just to have a friend see what ME entails...
Besides some quirks overall a great response by Wüst et al. Honestly it's an important response by the right type of researchers to refute the claim of deconditioning. I'm a proud Dutchman!
He's BPS so he does a little of everything. I'm not too excited about it. Especially since he collaborates with COFFI for the Dutch biomedical research program. It's a loss lol.
