I feel like it is possible that PEM that is actually fully seemingly out of nowhere (and for sure not triggered by emotional exertion or something similar), could be caused by something else like an unknown infection etc.
I do think it is a rare occurance for someone to have PEM that isn't...

I can somewhat see how CBT can mean different things to different people, but by reacting like this the only thing they seem to try is to avoid taking any kind of responsibility & change. Just like the other reaction from the pediatricians...

It is quite cruel, I agree. Especially the younger you are the more difficult it is to stop a treatment and advocate for yourself against doctors that only dismiss your experience.
I suspect it was a edited fukuda, that didn't mention PEM at all (the normal fukuda does at least include PEM...
Im young, and in my experience all doctors seem to think "cvs" is just chronic fatigue. As a result many are send to go GET/CBT. I think the current guidelines from GPs and pediatricians also considers CVS to be part of SOLK (somatic symptom disorder), and don't have any mention of PEM anywhere...
