Hair loss and changes to fingernails

I've seen this mentioned sometimes, but not often. Does anyone else get this? In the last 4 months my hair has been falling out, it would look more noticeable but my hair was v v thick to start off with. I know there are lots of reasons for hair loss - but ME seems like a likely culprit right...

Dimensional Personality Assessment among a CFS sample with Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID-5), 2018, Calvo et al.

Seems like classic pathologising of a 'normal' reaction to life with ME (also known as victim blaming) + projection of researcher biases. Interesting because I think a lot of people might argue that 'personality disorders' (using scare quotes because I know for some it is a useful category...

I've been giving this a go since Wednesday - getting the keto headache which I read is normal, but still not v pleasant. Planning on sticking with it for a month to see if there are benefits for me.

    Ketogenic diet

I'm considering giving this a go but I'm worried it'll be really expensive? For people who do it, is it much more expensive than a standard diet?

In fact, to claim it is anything but the most influential study on ME/CFS treatment globally seems a nonsense to me? (At this point it’s almost impossible to extricate the actual study from the spin around it and the larger BPS framework it apparently substantiated)

Also let’s not forget how influential it’s been internationally with policy in many different countries

You probably need to look on ‘tweets and replies’ rather than their main profile

Argh this 'false dualism' argument is so frustrating & victim blaming - especially as it's insinuated that it comes from patients, when it actually originates with the BPS theories. Ofc there is no mind separate from body (well that's what I believe/monism), hence the way illnesses are divided...

NICE ME/CFS Guideline stakeholder scoping workshop, Fri 25th May 2018

Yes of course we discussed the umbrella statement the importance of names etc. I know names and labels are important. I just worry that spending a lot of time talking about how CFS isn't ME and vice versa isn't always helpful when there's so much to discuss. I mean specifically the idea that CFS...
