Who said: no getting back to work or drop in benefits after GET / CBT?

Is this explicitly stated or does it need some work to show this (like in this thread)? This is valuable.

Carol Monaghan has applied for a debate in UK House of Commons main chamber

I like your post, @DokaGirl, and agree in many parts, but this is something I cannot agree with. My personal experience is that most times feelings of sadness, melancholy and desperation are brought upon by external factors - and I won't be happier due to a mind change. Often, one simple reason...

NICE to update guidelines for MS - Oct 2018

Primary progressive MS - that's MS from birth on? I didn't know that this exists? Edit: It really seems discrimination against sick is gaining momentum.

Who was it that said being in support groups leads to poor outcome?

Wow, that is so obviously stupid (in the sense of unintelligent) that it hurts. Difficult to further engage with such people...and in an earnest manner also.

    Mite in the gut??

Actually, now that you say it explicitly, yes.

    Mite in the gut??

Ahh, so it's dead mites (i.e. "mites protein") and their excrements in the gut? Still, I find that interesting.

    Mite in the gut??

Yes, I know, I have an allergy. But the gut connection is new to me.

    Mite in the gut??

Ok, had a second look. Thank you. They detected Der p1 in the gut. Der p1 is a part of the excrements of mite? But they say where HDM = house dust mites. I am sorry, it's still not clear to me. Is it mites in the gut or their excrements/whatever?

    Mite in the gut??

Wow, Trish, thanks. This is about normal dust mites. In the gut?? How does that work? Dust mites can survive in the gut??

    Mite in the gut??

Hey everybody, does anybody know if something like mite in the gut exist? I can't find anything and speculate it doesn't exist. It's a passage in an official document by the DRV (DWP in UK), and I'm puzzled. Maybe it's just an error from their side (which I can use :D).

    Reply from Nice

Yes, I received that email a moment ago, too. The message is clear: So I think that any letter that is sent will bring no change. Therefore, I personally think it is important to show publicly that we do not agree to some of the appointees. Publicity is important.

Who was it that said being in support groups leads to poor outcome?

Maybe it's also that the GET/CBT experience also showed them they won't endure a disability benefits process, or they were already so crashed that they couldn't imagine enduring it. Very interesting, Jaime!

PPS new name for MUS - Integrated Care for People with Persistent Physical Symptoms 02/10/2018

This is getting ridiculous. It should be viewed as ridiculous. What are they aiming at? It is known there are dumb people, but I very much doubt these people don't know their own concepts (FSS, BDD, BDS, MUS, FND etc., now PPS), and I doubt there is no agenda. What's the agenda? Do they want to...

Who said: don't bother testing patients?

That's why I started using "sponge brain" or "zombie brain" (do zombies have a brain? - whatever, most people get it). In fact I didn't understand brain fog myself and tried to explain how it feels to me.

Updates on status of ICD-11 and changes to other classification and terminology systems

This is good news, thank you Suzy. I am concerned that WHO views "disabling fatigue" as the leading symptom in ME/CFS. But, well...

Who said: don't bother testing patients?

I can only speak from my own experience. I agree there's absolutely a "brain fatiguability" componenent, but there's also a muscle component in the sense that they burn and exhaust very fast, independently from the brain. That is, the muscle itself; which feels like a metabolic thing. If I...

Woman faked qualifications and worked in uk as a psychiatrist for 20 years

That seems to be the case for Gerd Postel, from what I have heard.

2016 Psychology Today article discusses overcoming CFS through dealing with stressful situations from past.

For me the question is: Although there are no objective proofs, why does this pass judges and legal cases?
