I use a chest strap paired to a watch and it's 100% accurate. By far the best thing I've ever done to help my condition.
There were too many errors with my Fitbit. Sold it and bought Polar strap and watch.
As a long suffering lay person, I find this disgusting. It's outrageous that these people are given funding time and again. Funding for support after Covid!
They are just a pick and mix of the interchangeable!

Dr Sarah Jarvis was on Vine BBC Radio 2 yesterday talking about Long Covid. Around 1.15 mins in. She said something surprising. Paraphrase.
This has many similarities to ME. Used to be referred to as CFS. We don't use that term any longer.
This is what's happening here in Scotland. Is this what's being given to GP's?
I find it deeply offensive.

It’s been a long time since I’ve written a post and a lot has happened so I’ll summarise the best I can!
At the start of April in 2019, I was feeling very stuck and in a particularly...
I see he's featuring on TV tonight. Hospital at 9, BBC2.
FND - 1 hour documentary ‘Hospital’ on

Tomorrow 9pm!Hospital features three of my courageous patients sharing their experience of living with Functional Neurological Disorder. #fNDHope
The link above ME-CFS, Functional symptoms.
However, very few people are familiar with functional symptoms and these symptoms can be difficult for many patient's and clinicians to understand. One way of explaining functional symptoms is to think of the body as a computer, with functional...
I started the survey but couldn't finish. Most answers require 'none'. Why ask who should be involved in my care and support. They should be telling me. I have repeatedly asked for a referral to a nutritionalist.
Carbohydrates really cause me problems. GP flatly refuses.

Live in Scotland but this is the first time I've heard of it.
There was a Public Petitions Committee meeting just before Christmas. The MSP chair told the Chief Medical Officer that the current situation was untenable and that she wanted answers. Particularly about NICE/PACE. CMO seemed in...
I was prescribed Cymbalta. It was a horrible experience. I found it almost impossible to stop due to withdrawals. 18 months! The worst symptom for me was a short intense feeling of only what I could describe as vertigo. Suppose that's what some people describe as 'brain zaps'. Constantly...
I posted on another thread about research and HR. I've had the kit to trace HR for 6 weeks now. Results are amazing. When at worst my HR is rock bottom. Nothing I do raises it much. When I'm feeling better HR can go sky high.
Polar training load index is always sky high 36 - 48 hours...
She is exactly the type of person who should be a paid part time lobbyist and advisor. Respected, she knows her way round parliament and should be used in a professional capacity.
From personal experience. Tribunal accepted my diagnosis but agreed with DWP that "profound ME" didn't accrue enough points. Part award, so saved and bought my own 2nd hand scooter. Should have done it earlier.
I was sent to the local NHS Physio after diagnosis.
A girl in her 30's. She said, "There's nothing I can do for your ME. My aunt has ME, it's a shame" She then went on to chit chat for about an hour about her aunt, ME and how I should deal with it. She was fantastic.
Quite revealing...
There is a tacitly within the establishment and governance in this country that means wrongdoing is never exposed until people have died or retired. Unless caught in the very act.
Blood, Birmingham 6 and Hillsborourgh at one end of the scale all the way down.
What I don't understand is why...
The boom of 'Yuppie Flu' came at a time when traders moved to computer screens. Is this just a coincidence or point to neck problems as a contributory factor.
The rise of young sufferers at an age when they are starting to interact with tech etc.
He won a holiday for Man of the Match in that cup final. I believe on the holiday he felt that he wasn't firing on all cylinders. A wee while before November.
Davie Provan is an example why the 'all in the head' theorists are so wrong. Strip it all back. They should be compelled to address...
