It really is quite unbelievable :(
"a longer feature on M.E. and also a number of articles The Times are running this week on M.E. /CFS."
Okay, now I believe that non-subscribers are entitled to a couple of articles each week, if logged in, so this suggests we wouldn't be able to read them all this week. Anyone want to...

Food parcels are supposed to be discontinued at the end of July.
Vitamin D, BAME patients, and a possible link?

Finally managed to track down this rather natty summing-up of symptoms which appeared in my local newspaper:
https://images.app.goo.gl/8jeDL9NL1EnZNGBaA
NB: "My" version also has at bottom left:
"Do not leave home if you or someone you live with has any of the following:
- A high temperature...
I didn't follow this through, but I noticed in passing by the local shop this afternoon that the Daily Mail had a front-page headline which implied that a deficiency of Vitamin D seemed to be associated with poor Covid-19 outcomes. Anyone know any more?
Once again, I can't believe I'm quoting...
This article from the Washington Post is wide-ranging:

Seriously. I don't understand it either. It just seems that people are more concerned with getting tourism restarted than getting the virus suppressed.
Anyway, here's a useful piece (courtesy of the Daily Mail AGAIN - what is the world coming to?) on death rates and suchlike in the UK...
I do. It's largely because it's coming up to peak tourism season etc. and they are desperate to get their businesses up and running again, and being forced to quarantine for two weeks upon arrival is going to be a major disincentive to people coming in from abroad. From the virus point of...

Well, in common with the (?)Chris Giles tweet someone linked to, maybe indirectly, I too have been struck by the increasing prevalence of ambulances in my part of South London over the past few days - and that is sightings, not just hearing them. It's only once you start seeing them again that...
I have some thick fuse wire which I think should do the job nicely, too :)
Thank you, Sean - I was just wondering whereabouts the air filters link was!
And if all these tests have been rolled out, then why isn't the number of infections generally still on the way up? Are we really supposed to believe that virtually all the tests which have been carried out have turned out negative?
I wouldn't usually quote the Daily Mail as an authority, but...
