Caree's GP says that surgeries etc. are getting Pfizer and pharmacies Moderna - not sure how widespread that is, but it might be something to take into consideration.
Had lunch with a former colleague today. When I mentioned my friend's problem with the Moderna booster, she said that a couple of people she knew who'd had it had been pretty unwell with it, although not with the pounding heart symptom. Presumably neither had ME.
I suppose one day we may...
Well, FWIW I had a Pfizer booster yesterday, following on from two Astra Zenecas. Very sore arm, possibly a case of the sniffles, possibly a bit of a headache - although there's no guarantee that the last two are related to the vaccine in any way.
A friend who had also had two AZs had the...
Is that "internal" chest pain, or "external", i.e. the chest muscles? I often get that after I've been moving stuff around, especially if it's heavy/cumbersome.
Yes, what with him, and O'Neill, and probably a few other journalists, it seems that when we find someone who writes about the subject, be it LC or ME, with sympathy and compassion, we should be asking "who do you know who has it?"
Apparently the symptoms of the Omicron variant are different - milder - from the "usual" ones: exhaustion and fatigue, high pulse rate. Loss of sense of smell doesn't appear to be a symptom in this case...
That would be ... new variants like this one?

Ah, thanks. When I had my last tetanus jab - when I was at uni - whoever administered it told me that I'd had enough to last me the rest of my life. I'd better bear in mind that things have changed.
I'm also wondering whether the new guidelines, in combination with changes to procedures "post-Covid", might also be of benefit? You may recall that my caree was disadvantaged in her PIP appeal because she was unable to travel to the tribunal, being housebound, and she was refused a tribunal by...
Yup, sounds pretty similar to our situation: I'm currently going through the 400 pages of printout and filleting out anything that needs to be shredded, which hasn't been a lot so far - just as well, as the paper's too wide for my own shredder, and even using the office shredder I'm having to...
Or in my case because I bookmarked it, intending to look up the relevant section of the SGB or whatever it was so I could know what I was signing about. But I gave up on that and have just signed. Was a bit concerned that you might have to be a German, or at least EU, national, but no, you can...
I have to say that I don't remember any questions ever being asked about plans under the old guidelines, and I can't see that things would be any different under the new ones.
