Red-brown speckles on palm of hands and fingers

@Jonathan Edwards I will check into nail distrophy, I have never heard of that ! I have the supposed fungus on my toe nails also. I didn’t mention I have vitiligo that comes and goes on some spots, and permanent on others. Not severe. Was the part about at-cells for me or Tiredsam, or both ? :-)

Red-brown speckles on palm of hands and fingers

@Jonathan Edwards thank you for shedding some light on this. I don’t have any around the cuticles. They seem to be exclusively on the inside of the hand. I do have nail fungus though that I am trying to get rid of with Jublia (but the speckles started before the Jublia came along). I’ve had...

I take nimotop which increases blood Flow to the brain and also preventive aspirin. Maybe one of these two?

I don't see what I would have been touching that has silver nitrate but I guess you never know. :-)

Red-brown speckles on palm of hands and fingers

Ha Ha Ha, you made me laugh. I hate it when doctors pretend it’s nothing. It’s not nothing. Our bodies are reactimg to some trigger, but which one ? I’ve seen the same thing happening to people who are in contact with silver nitrate, but I am not. I do have a lot of stress at the moment...

Red-brown speckles on palm of hands and fingers

It looks like it. I took a needle and just took off the first layer of skin (very thin, no bleeding) and it came off. Then others grew other places.

Red-brown speckles on palm of hands and fingers

About 9 months ago, I started having those little brownish-red speckles on the palm of my hands and inside of my fingers. I showed it to 2 doctors but they thought nothing of it. At first I had only one. I thought I had a little scratch. I removed it and a few others came back. Now I have a...

    What is happening ?

@Sisyphus 3 more days before I can start resting again. Let’s hope I come out of this not too damaged. I have sort of dizzy spells on and off. Today I had at least three or four. In one of them I was driving, and seriously considering stopping by the side of the road. Fortunately I only had...

Why has 'persistent enteroviral infection' been dropped as a research strand in ME/CFS? (Jen Brea asking)

He does really care and I don’t think he claims anything. He is not in the research field, he is a family doctor. He has published many comprehensive books about ME, and sells them at a fair price, even giving the electronic versions for free when he can. If he didn’t care, I doubt that he...

    What is happening ?

@Sisyphus I wish I could sleep more, but the « tired but wired » effect is on full blast ! I will most definitely try to lie down as much as possible. The next 5-6 days will be the worse, then I will be able to rest like usual, or close. @Esther12 thank you ! :-)

    What is happening ?

@NelliePledge thank you. Have you done this before and how did it turn out when it was over ? Did you just crash or with more rest you were okay ? Yes, moving is extenuating. And so expensive ! Since I can’t do much, I am paying for people to pack my stuff, move me and unpack me. On top of...

Why has 'persistent enteroviral infection' been dropped as a research strand in ME/CFS? (Jen Brea asking)

This reasoning could be true if it wasn’t Dr Hyde we’re talking about. Dr Hyde runs a charitable foundation in order to help patients who can’t afford to defend themselves and find care. He has put a lot of his own money in it. A lot. He is a very generous and caring man and only charges...

    What is happening ?

I’ve been preparing to move now for 4 months. And I’ve been doing renos for 10 days. I don’t do any physical work, or very little, but I go to the house everyday to make sure workers are okay and know what to do. I also run errands so I don’t pay these guys to go shopping. I brought my...

    Stamina levels before ME/CFS?

I admire you if you did it alone. We had split custody, so they were with me 1 week out of 2. And I was lucky enough that when I couldn’t function anymore, my kids were almost adults. I can’t imagine how hard it must be with young children.

    Stamina levels before ME/CFS?

I used to leave for work at 06am, come back between 6-7 pm, eat, go train for 1 hour, come back and continue. I had 2 kids and had separated from their father, so did everything on my own. I would do bike training on the week-ends and sometimes work 10hoirs or more. For a few years I went to...

'Shaking and trembling with ME/CFS' - Chronically Hopeful

Yes, I have all of those. External shaking is minimal most of the time, internal shaking comes and goes at various intensities and muscular weakness is 24/7 at various intensities.

House built on old golf course - yes or no ?

The renos at the new house started two days ago. It is going well and according to schedule. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I had a scare when the contractor told me he didn’t know how to modify the staircase to adapt to my new chairlift, to be installed at the end of the renovations. I...

Help ! Hypoglycemia coming back with a vengeance

@Ryan31337 sorry if what I’m writing is unclear. You’ve been very helpful. I will be more careful with my diet for sure from now on. This episode was everything but fun. I had an awful night as it took me more than 3 hours to fall asleep and woke up early. Today I’m still paying for it...
