I am concerned with this contradiction: her paper, and then these statements. I don't think she doesn't know enough about the ICD process because she's involved.
That's a good one.
But I remember that iron deficiency tiredness is closer to feeling "worn-out" (I hope that's the correct word...), no?
I confess I tend/tended to go to the doctor only if I really felt terrible or someone told me it would be better to go. That's maybe not the best thing to...
At least in Germany there would be no people left for research if people with psychiatric (mis)diagnoses are excluded. I would say nearly everyone here got a psych diagnosis at some point or the other before getting an ME diagnosis. I think this is what you meant, @Webdog?
Is this true? I read it so often. But myself, I never went to a doctor because of tiredness - I never would have thought about it. Did someone here?
(On the other hand, I couldn't work anymore because I felt like if I went on I would crack due to a heavy exhaustion and pain and feeling worse...
But this can be made up.

Edit: @Arnie Pye was faster :)
Now they justify sexism and racism with "studies". (I cannot find a good reason why women, younger persons and non-native speakers more often have "MUS" - unless of course that's the group of persons where the fewest diagnostics are performed per se due to prejudice.) 2/3 practically says...
I know someone who got a stem cell transplantation end of last year, and I have to say I was never sure he would survive. Some 'neighbors' of his died due to common infections. He made it, but it's certainly nothing easy.
It should be common knowledge (at least amongst athletes it is) never to train during an infection, especially not during the flu! It is well-known that the possibility of having a myocarditis is relatively high.
Those people are picked who aren't "performers" (in German Leistungsträger), i.e. people who - no matter why - don't contribute in any way to BIP and who ask for social benefits. This would include criminals.
You can be the biggest weirdo with the most questionable way of thinking, if you earn...
