The prevalence and impact of psychoneuroimmunological factors in ME/CFS: Effects and mechanisms of ACT (2019) Olsson et al.

No, it doesn't have anything to do with Bergquist. It's been brewing much longer than that... This change isn't coming from the scientific advisory board, but from the top of the organisation, the board (what's the name in English? Board of directors?), and follows the recent reorganisation...

The prevalence and impact of psychoneuroimmunological factors in ME/CFS: Effects and mechanisms of ACT (2019) Olsson et al.

This trial is still happening. One thing has recently changed: they have sent an application to the Ethical Review Authority asking permission to continue the patient data collection at a different place, Bragée ME-center. Another recent change is that the Swedish patient organisation RME, who...

The Triumph of Eminence-Based Medicine - Brian Hughes

Well done :) I would warmly recommend transcribe.wreally.com if you're using the "listening and typing" method, it has some super helpful functions. (They recently added auto-transcription for English and a couple of other languages, but I haven't had a chance to try it.)

Graded exercise therapy for ME/CFS is not effective and unsafe. Re-analysis of a Cochrane review (2018) Health Psychology / Vink

In Sweden there's a concept called "vårdskada" (literally "care harm"). Is there an equivalent in other countries? The definition of "vårdskada" according to the patient safety law (Patientsäkerhetslagen 2010:659) is, roughly translated: "suffering, bodily or mental harm or illness and death...

Could have been funny :) But sadly that's not at all the signals I'm getting re: the national guidelines projects etc (most of them seem to rely heavily on the Cochrane reports) here in Sweden... :(

@Kalliope Thank you so much! Dr Bragée is a very controversial character, used to be a tv celebrity, he's new to ME/CFS, likes to promote bps while at the same time claiming that his approach to ME is biomed, and it seems to me like he's still not up to speed knowledgewise --...
