I just have to share this. So cool. But sad that it took the gaming market to make something appropriate for vertically challenged disabled people Only £3k........

They do a Doom edition chair! I wish I could!

I know exactly what you mean. Hypermobility comma leading to flat feet, needing Doc Martens or similar from when I was a kid, and all of that.... Sometimes good things don't even disappear, the end up up.by being diluted in quality by new proprietors or a new leader. Very annoying. Woah...

Don't worry, I'm not taking it the wrong way and the brainstorm will help many :) For my part, the work and personal laptops are pretty newish and the beanbag version did still cook me :( Without being too unpleasant in detail, I even ended up with thrush from the privates cooking, which I...

Thank you :) It might be a male thing, but I often found I'd end up cooking my private area with the lap desk type things. We already had some in the house, but had to move to the bamboo table cos I ended up with other problems as a result :( But important to flag for whoever can tolerate them :)

Ahaaa. Now they look amazing! Thanks. I thinks the desk options are clearer than they were now. Chairs still a pain in the bottom, maybe literally! :)

That's really interesting. The Secret Lab ones do recline, but on a hinge, rather than a weight based sliding track. That's my concern. Have you ever tried it reclined?

Thank you so much for ideas so far :) Someone very kindly suggested Stressless, a Norwegian brand. They look amazing and they even make laptop arms. Proper lumbar and other support. Very, very pricey, but honestly, disabled or bariatric chairs (for the very obese) can cost way more. Way more...

Very helpful indeed, thank you. Complete with action shots! :) Some chairs, like that ergo one, don't have a hinged recline mechanism, but slide along a half elliptical track, so they slide with your weight. You're right - coming back up does seem scary without power or that mechanism when I'm...

Hello all, Surfacing for some advice (difficult few months). Chair Does anyone have any experience of working on a laptop horizontally in a chair? Bed laptop work is really causing me problems (I do have a brilliant laptop table, but the mattress isn't made for point pressure when I sit up)...

Given the dynamics of the internet age giving too much voice can be a problem, but leaving loose ends unaddressed was never possible. Once the necessary issues are marked off, sure. Search engine indexing algorithms have made sure, and will likely continue to make sure, that his post will...

Not what you asked, but... While I completely agree with @Jonathan Edwards that there can be the risk of overegging, it seems to me that the medical community faces a balancing act that necessarily depends on cognitive dissonance, to manage the reality of decision making requirements Vs...

Well, not exactly. Without the validly facetious point regarding sample size, which is important.
