We've organised a performance to raise awareness and funds for ME at Wheal Martyn, China Clay Museum, St Austell, Cornwall. We hope that people with ME, their families, carers, friends and members of the public will come along to listen, connect and celebrate the amazing strength and resilience of the ME community.

Wheal Martyn is a peaceful site, set in acres of woodland. It's free to park, enter the café, atrium, gift shop and picnic area, all areas are accessible to wheelchairs. There is a fee to look around the museum, most of which is accessible.
The licensed café caters very well for special dietary requirements and has Vegan and vegetarian, dairy and gluten free menus.

The atrium, where the choir will perform if it's raining, is naturally lit. If the weather is nice we'll sing outside in the picnic area.

I'd be incredibly grateful if you could help me promote the event, on Facebook, Twitter, in local support groups and by sharing with people you know in Cornwall who might be persuaded to come along.

    Find Wheal Martyn at https://www.wheal-martyn.com/visit-us/find-us/
    And inTune choir at http://www.intunechoir.co.uk/

We will be collecting for the ME Association, Registered charity no. 801279
    * The bottom of the poster should read ME Association, not ME Awareness.

@Amw66 I think we will be able to livestream to Facebook and link it to here, but haven't got it organised yet so I don't want to make any promises, just in case.

Great stuff. It's a shame that the choir website and the Wheal Martyn website have not yet included it on their programmes, or I could pass the link on.

I'll be with you all in spirit. I hope it all goes well. Please pass my thanks to your choir @Liv aka Mrs Sowester. An event like this takes a lot of work.

That sounds like it's going to be wonderful @Liv aka Mrs Sowester .

Not sure if I dare listen - Bridge over Trouble Water is my crying song! It came out in 1970 and I was suffering from a broken heart - every time it came on the radio I cried my eyes out

    Have a great concert.

Only managed to listen to a little bit (sound sensitive) but I tried to catch a bit of each song. Very, very good!
