Webinar (and survey): Are ME patients more prone to fungal infections? - with Katharine Seton and Simon Carding

A webinar organised by the Norwegian ME Association from yesterday with Katharine Seton and Simon Carding from Quadram Institute.

They provide a short history of ME, hypothesise if and how fungal infections may play a role in ME and then talk about a survey they have developed together with the Norwegian ME Association for Norwegian patients on fungal infections.

As most of it is general and in English I thought it would be of interest to member of the forum.

If you are Norwegian, you can take part in the survey here. They welcome patients with ME and/or Long Covid with or without fungal infections as well as controls:

I listened to a lot of the presentations on infections and fungi and it seemed to be all speculation and suggestions about what they might do in the future without much critical analysis.

The questionnaire just asked about of I’ve experienced fungal infection X, use or anti-biotics, the environment I live in, personal hygiene and how often clothes and bedsheets etc are changed.
