Syndrome A - On Autism & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Very interesting, but beware of biotin. Unless it's a complete coincidence, it was biotin that preceded my descent into the headache and weirdness that put me in hospital in 2016, and I have not been 'right with ME' since.

I'm interested in the autism. as I have a lot of autistic traits, and so do quite a lot of women (and men?) with ME.

Right - so

"Davis said that his son Whitney showed errors in B-vitamin metabolism, resulting in a very rare deficiency of biotin; this is important, because enzymes in the citric acid cycle are dependent on biotin. In another patient, tryptophan metabolism was a problem."

I reckon biotin wasn't deficient for me, hence my severe adverse reaction to biotin supplementation (although I don't know why it was so bad, and possibly long-term).
