I’ve never heard of turmeric being helpful for cognitive issues I thought it was supposed to be anti inflammatory.

I have used both for pain- both really unhelpful- vile tasting and didn't have any effect other than upsetting my stomach.

I bought some high strength capsules and I think they made my POTS worse. Google it and it’s a potential vasodilator.

Interestingly it made my POTS slightly better. Although ginger (also a potential vasodilator) made my Pots worse.

I can't say they make any difference.

I do currently consume a fair amount of turmeric, probably around 2 heaped tablespoons a week, in a soup and as a component of a rub on chicken.

I do not take capsules or add it to drinks.

I consume several other spices, thought to help with various things, and would make the same comment.

I consume them for flavour, no other effects than taste have been evident.

None seems to be a miracle cure for anything other than boredom and blandness, and even then only where some foods are concerned.

The Longvida form of curcumin helped me overcome a short-term memory problem, and I continue to take it. The Meriva form of curcumin helps me with inflammation and pain.
