I have just come across this website after it was recommended by a patient.

I have been following her for a while on Threads and found her to have a much better understanding of long Covid and ME/CFS than the vast majority of health professionals.

But I never followed up to find out more about her nor did I know she wrote blog posts. I may read up more over the coming months but it would be interesting to get feedback from others too.

I read a couple of her pieces. I appreciate their brevity.

I like the realism of this one:

Pacing in the Real World
Where stopping isn't always an option.

It ends:

Pacing doesn’t require meticulous planning and consistency.
Real pacing (the kind you do while holding up an actual life) is messy, improvisational, and more like unscripted jazz than a spreadsheet.

Do we know where she is based? Ie which country?

I think getting people who have insight and have expertise in areas such as OT and equipment and how the illness makes trying to access and make good choices in these (and implementing them eg if they require tradesman or work) would be so useful .

A lot may want to help but are unaware quite how certainly once severe the illness is debilitating in ways that make for a lot of things to think about in pros vs cons in whether something helps or hinders. But also just the trying to communicate is hard nevermind working out how to do so with systems or buying commercially etc
