For transparency, this is prompted by a blood test result that said my haemoglobin is higher than normal and I've been advised it's likely dehydration and to retest in six weeks which is what I intend to do, so whilst not seeking medical advice I am curious about what there is to know about this. A few others are slightly off and some of the results within the full blood count be just a little under/over for the last few years. So, what is there to know about high haemoglobin (and I suppose, dehydration that is so marked that it affects blood tests)? It's funny in a way because when fatigue comes on it does feel like my body is heavier and the energy isn't running through it like it should.
Did you ever find out about your high hemoglobin and importantly has it resolved? I mostly have elevated haemoglobin.
