I think we should steer clear of making comparisons with research funding for completely unrelated conditions. It can become all too easy to start unhelpful discussions about who is worthy of help.

A more useful comparison might be with other chronic disabling illnesses like Parkinson's Disease and multiple sclerosis.

Its usually compared to balding and hayfever. I think that its Useful to show just how lowly our illness is considered given ME is clearly more disabling and distressing. Then showing what other serious illness gets MS etc it’s put well in perspective. Nancy klimas has used that quote. I think that there’s been various good graphics as well.
